Photo exhibition on cultural diversity of Dien Bien’s ethnic groups

The photo exhibition “Cultural Diversity of Dien Bien’s Ethnic Groups”, highlighting the unique beauty of the province’s diverse ethnic communities, took place from November 14 to 17 at the May 7 Square in Dien Bien Phu City.


Visitors explore the “Cultural Diversity of Dien Bien’s Ethnic Groups” photo exhibition.

Visitors and locals had the opportunity to admire 128 photographs showcasing the vibrant cultural diversity of Dien Bien’s ethnic groups.

The exhibition was divided into three sections. The first section includes a collection of photos providing an overview of the province’s ethnic diversity. The second section features images of intangible cultural heritage recognised at the national level, as well as depictions of daily life, traditional festivals, rituals, crafts, folk art, and traditional games. The third section includes a series of photographs presenting prominent tourist destinations in Dien Bien Province.

The exhibition aimed to enhance public awareness, promote the province’s culture, and provide an engaging experience for both domestic and international visitors. It showcased the unique lifestyles, traditions, and cultural identities of Dien Bien’s ethnic communities.

Additionally, the event contributed to creating a striking photographic collection of Dien Bien’s ethnic minorities, which will serve as a valuable resource for cultural, tourism, and promotional activities at festivals, events, and exchanges both locally and globally.
