Dien Bien’s Muong Lay Town celebrates National Great Unity DayThe 2024 National Great Unity Day celebration took place in O Village, Lay Nua Commune, Muong Lay Town in Dien Bien Province on Saturday morning.

O Village has 44 households and 189 residents, with no households classified as impoverished. In recent years, the residents of O Village have united to effectively carry out many movements, supporting each other in poverty reduction and ensuring political security and social order.
Significant achievements in socio-economic development and cultural life have been recognised. All households have received the title of “Cultural Family”, and the village has been designated a “Cultural Village”.
Every household has committed to maintaining security and order, adhering to the model of a “Peaceful Village”, as well as upholding traffic safety and maintaining a community free from drugs.
In the joyful atmosphere of the National Great Unity Day, representatives and residents of O Village recalled the 94-year history of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 – November 18, 2024) and reviewed the results of various patriotic movem

Muong Lay Town’s Party Secretary Bui Hai Binh highlighted the achievements of O Village’s officials and residents as evidence of the successful implementation of ethnic solidarity policies.
These efforts embody the spirit of unity in striving to meet the goals of the National New Rural Development Programme and the “All People Unite to Build New Rural and Civilised Urban Areas” campaign, Binh said.
To further enhance unity, Binh called on local authorities, the village branch, the Front Work Committee, and associated groups to strengthen efforts in raising public awareness, encouraging adherence to Party policies, state laws, local regulations, and community guidelines.
He urged the village to maintain its cultural status, prevent social issues, and work effectively toward development goals.
