Hong Mountain is the border of Tan Trao commune (Son Duong, Tuyen Quang) and Phu Dinh commune, Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province in the form of water division.
To turn that potential into attractive tourism products and services, aiming to turn Tan Trao into a National Tourist Area, recently the Management Board of Tourist Areas of Tuyen Quang province chaired and coordinated with Flamingo Group, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and related units to organize a survey of tourism resources concentrated in Tan Trao commune, including Hong Mountain climbing tours to orient the development of a typical “green” tourism product.
Hong Mountain area belongs to Tan Trao special-use forest which was planned by the province in 1998 on the basis of the forbidden forest regulated by the Government.
Hong Mountain still retains the wild and charming beauty of the thousand-year-old primeval area with a treasure trove of medicinal herbs such as Gynostemma pentaphyllum, Natural Ginseng, and ginseng, etc.
