Ethnic culture exhibition opens in Quang Tri

The photographs highlights the cultural diversity of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups.

An exhibition celebrating the rich cultural traditions of Vietnam’s ethnic minorities opened on December 14 at the central province of Quang Tri’s Cultural and Cinema Center, as part of Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day.

The two-day event highlights the solidarity of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups in fostering national development and defense. It is expected to attract a wide audience of locals and tourists alike.The exhibition showcases nearly 200 photographs, organized into five key themes: the close bond between President Ho Chi Minh and ethnic minority communities; the Party and State’s support for these communities; the cultural richness of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups; notable achievements from the perspective of traditional ethnic minority culture; and the vision for a new era. These photographs capture traditional practices, religious ceremonies, customs, arts, and both the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minority groups.

Rare images of President Ho Chi Minh are also featured, leaving a profound impression on visitors. The Organizing Committee aims to offer a comprehensive perspective, celebrating the values of harmony and national unity.
