Bac Giang: 2 more community tourism spots established in Son Dong

The Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued a decision to recognize two community tourism sites, including Mau Village Community Tourism site and Ba Tia Waterfall Community Tourism site in Tay Yen Tu town of Son Dong district (Bac Giang province). 

Ba Tia Waterfall Community Tourism site belongs to Ba Tia Community Tourism Cooperative in Dong Ri residential group while Mau Village Community Tourism Site belongs to Mau – Ba Tia Community Tourism Cooperative in Mau residential group.

These are two famous destinations in Son Dong district attracting a large number of visitors every year. Ba Tia Waterfall Community Tourism Site is famous for natural landscape and wild beauty. There are many beautiful golden waterfalls with a height of up to 20 m which are surrounded by primeval forests with many ancient trees and rare animals.

Mau Village Community Tourism Site has a beautiful natural landscape, preserving the unique cultural features of the Dao ethnic group in terms of costumes, cuisine and art among others.

The recognition of these two tourist destinations helps encourage businesses, cooperatives and local people to increase investment in infrastructure, build unique products and promote the development of community tourism in the locality.

At the same time, it creates connection points to facilitate travel agencies inside and outside the province to exploit and build tours to attract visitors.

Thus, up to now, the whole province has 18 recognized tourist areas and spots.
