After about 5 kilometres, they will reach Trang Huong Bridge, where there is a parking lot and a ticket counter for boat tours. Here, visitors are briefed on safety regulations, provided service advice, and given tips on the best photo spots. Once the boat sets off, visitors are immersed in a dreamy landscape of villages nestled behind lush green slopes and a tranquil atmosphere far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. In the morning, mist hangs gently over the water, creating an ethereal feel, while the midday sunlight makes the lake shimmer like a mirror reflecting the heavens.

The journey continues take visitors to Tu San Alley, the deepest of this kind in Southeast Asia, flanked by towering cliffs that have been sculpted by nature over millions of years. With a palette of emerald waters, earthy gray stones, and golden sunlight, Tu San Alley is an ideal check-in spot for photography enthusiasts. Hoang Minh Phuong, a tourist from Hanoi, shared: “As the boat entered the alley, I felt the immense power of nature and how small we are in comparison. All my worries seemed to vanish, leaving only a profound connection between humans and nature”.

To meet the growing demand, the Tu San Agriculture and Tourism Cooperative has invested in 51 standardised tourist boats, offering safe and comfortable experiences. The 60-80 minute journey not only allows visitors to marvel at the stunning landscapes but also includes guided stories about the Nho Que River and local culture. The cooperative also provides dining services, traditional costume rentals, and promotes the friendly and professional image of Ha Giang tourism. On average, the destination welcomes nearly 30,000 visitors monthly, generating about 2 billion VND in revenue.

According to Chairman of the Meo Vac District People’s Committee Nguyen Huy Sac, this tourist site is operating efficiently and attracting a significant number of visitors. The district has been focusing on upgrading the road from National Highway 4C to the reservoir, strengthening waterway traffic safety measures, and encouraging investment in infrastructure to enhance service quality and maximise the potential of this destination.

Tran Ke

Ha Giang News – en.baohagiang.vn

The reservoir of Nho Que 1 Hydropower Plant (Meo Vac District) resembles a green silk ribbon lying at the foot of Ma Pi Leng Pass.
