Teachers and students visit the exhibition space displaying typical artifacts such as costumes, household items and labor tools of the Tay ethnic group<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the museum, visitors can admire and learn about the history, meaning and process of making these unique costumes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entering the museum’s exhibition space, visitors will feel the warm light from the decorative lamps, gently radiating enough to see the traditional costumes of the Dao, Mong people brilliant with many colors and rich patterns, demonstrating the sophistication in the art of each ethnic group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitors can visit each exhibition area, first is the Tay ethnic exhibition area, which introduces ancient costumes and tools such as looms, spinning wheelsan d daily necessities such as hats, baskets, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, visitors will admire the exhibition area of \u200b\u200bDao ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province. The costumes of Dao ethnic groups are mainly bright colors on an indigo background, but Dao Tien costumes are clearly different with black indigo, large silver buttons on both sides of the shirt, white headscarves, skirts embroidered with beeswax patterns, creating a unique feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students visit the traditional kitchen display corner of the Mong people<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mong ethnic exhibition area includes Mong Hoa, Mong Trang, etc. Especially, the Mong people’s kitchen area recreates daily life scenes with the image of a mother carrying her child sitting by the fire. All create a cozy and lively space, helping visitors better understand the daily life of the Mong people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, visitors will come to the exhibition area of \u200b\u200bthe Pa Then people, the San Chay people. Each ethnic group has its own unique features, creating a diverse and rich cultural picture of Tuyen Quang province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, the Provincial Museum is preserving many traditional costumes of ethnic groups such as Tay, Dao, San Chay, Mong, Pa Then with many different original costumes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The preservation and promotion of traditional costumes of ethnic minorities in Tuyen Quang province in the current period contributes to preserving, conserving and developing the culture of ethnic groups, enhancing pride, helping people to be aware of preserving and promoting the traditional costumes of their ethnic groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
